Covering an area of almost 150,000m2, the 3 key rated Belle Vue Apartments is the largest resort complex in Europe, and offers visitors a selection no less then 1,474 one and two bedroom self catering apartments and studio flats, which are distributed between 17 buildings.

With grounds that face onto the shores of the Lago Menor, the Belle Vue resort was built in 1974 and underwent an extensive refurbishment of its facilities during 2001. Both apartments and studio flats all feature a modern fully fitted "en suite" bathroom with shower, as well as an open plan kitchenette with cooking facilities that include a 2 ring hob, refrigerator and microwave oven.

Guest rooms also have a combined lounge/dining area where you will find extra sofa beds, a direct dial telephone, satellite television, safety deposit box available for rental and either a terrace or balcony with views over the resort.

A daily maid service is also provided that carry out a change of towels as required and change of bed linen once a week.

Guest facilities at the Belle Vue resort includes a 24-hour reception area, which provides currency exchange services and both luggage and courtesy rooms with showers for guests who have late airport departures. Other communal facilities on the complex include a variety of snack bars, public internet terminals, laundry and medical services, an on-site supermarket with bakery and both lounge and pool bars.

For guests who prefer not to cook whilst on holiday, the Belle Vue resort also offers a wide selection of both buffet and a la carte restaurants, offering a choice of menus to suit all tastes and diets, including traditional Spanish, international and vegetarian dishes.

Guests staying at the Belle Vue resort have a choice of no less than eight large outdoor freshwater swimming pools for adults, each of which has their own separate children's section, all surrounded by spacious terraces and Mediterranean style gardens, which are then furnished with sun loungers and parasols.

For families traveling with young children, a children's playground and mini club is also offered, along with a mini golf course, go-karts and both pool and table tennis tables. Of special interest to sports enthusiasts, other leisure facilities include a choice of seven hard surface tennis and squash courts, as well as a fully equipped cardiovascular gymnasium.

During the day a seasonal programme of sporting activities is also organised by the resorts' own resident animation team, this will typically feature a variety of team and other pool games.

A daily programme of evening entertainment is also planned in the show garden, usually commencing with a children's mini disco, which is then followed by either live music, cabaret or other professional shows several times each week.
