The hotel is only 3km from the harbour and commercial centre of the resort and a short 300 metre walk from the wide sandy Puerto de Alcudia beach.

The hotel was built in 1988 and underwent a full refurbishment during 2008. The new modern build has a total of 228 guest rooms, offering 160 one bedroom self-catering apartments as well as 68 studio flats. These rooms are built over 5 floors, and set around 2,000m2 of gardens and sun terraces overlooking a large central pool area towards the lake.

Guest rooms at the Aparthotel Eden Lago all have air conditioning and central heating, and have fully fitted “en suite” bathrooms with shower and hairdryer. The rooms also have an open plan kitchenette with refrigerator, furnishings and crockery, and a combined lounge/dining room with additional sofa beds, direct dial telephone, safety deposit box available for rental, satellite television and either terrace or balcony featuring views over the lake or mountains. A maid service is also provided, who change towels as required, and change bed linen twice a week.

Other guest facilities on offer includes a 24 hour reception area with currency exchange services, and both luggage room and courtesy rooms with showers for late departures, along with a games room, public internet terminals with high speed WiFi access available in selected areas, a small on site supermarket, laundry and medical services, a buffet style restaurant and snack bar, and both lounge and pool bars.

The buffet restaurant offers a choice of traditional Spanish, international and vegetarian menus.

The Aparthotel Eden Lago welcomes business guests, offering the usage of a large air conditioned conference and meeting room, with the capacity to seat up to 73 guests, which is equipped with a selection of modern audiovisual equipment.

A wide variety of sporting and leisure facilities are available to all guests. This includes a large outdoor freshwater swimming pool for adults, with separate children's section, spacious sun terraces and gardens which are furnished with loungers and parasols.

For families with children, the hotel provides a children's playground and mini club, and for sports enthusiasts 4 clay surface tennis courts, a mini golf course, and both pool and table tennis tables.

The Aparthotel Eden Lago provides a seasonal programme of daytime sporting activities, this is organised daily by their resident animation team, and often features rifle shooting, water polo and aerobics.

Evening entertainment is also planned offering a children's mini disco, followed by either live music, cabaret or other professional shows several times each week.
